One of the great discoveries during my time in Connecticut was the Yale Anglers’ Journal.
Officially described as “a literary publication dedicated to understanding angling and the natural world”, it is filled with short stories, poems, essays and artwork from both professional and amateur writers.
Founded in 1996, it is edited and published bi-annually by Yale University undergraduates who do a great job and produce quality work.
If you have some downtime because spring hasn’t sprung in your area and/or you’re looking for something different, order a copy or a subscription to the YAJ. Enjoy!
