This week I came across some interesting videos, all with the same theme – urban fly fishing.
The first comes from Midcurrent. It is a brief profile of fly fishing on the concrete-lined LA River. While the LA River probably isn’t at the top of your list of exotic fly fishing destinations, it makes for an interesting story. To see it, click here.
The second I found on YouTube. This is some great footage of a young man fly fishing for carp on an urban river. Classical music plays in the background as he casts just before sunset. Nicely done and Hi Def. To see it, click here.
The third in the set comes from www.jazzandflyfishing.com. It follows one of the JFF members as he fly fishes in downtown Oslo. One of the few chances you’ll get to see someone in the 21st century wearing a sport coat while he casts. Also in HD. Click here to watch.
