The request for the Owl was simple: Three bass poppers with a camo theme.
What I got instead was 6 really nice bass bugs; three with camo paint jobs, and another three that look equally as fishy. Actually they look too good to fish – almost.
Jeff “Owl” Jones knows bass poppers. He has made them in the past under the Zazzy Pop moniker, and recently offered a limited production run in this post on his Low Gap Creek web site.
He says that he’s out of the popper business for awhile as he returns to his artwork, but if you’re interested shoot him an email. Who knows, he might change his mind.

Looks like bass candy, Leigh, tasty stuff indeed. I’ll be interested in learning how the fish come to dinner.
