For the next few weeks I’ll be testing the new Sage Circa 379-4, a 7′ 9″ 3wt. It’s paired with a Sage Click III fly reel and Rio Trout LT WF3F line. A nice combo which should be good for some small stream and farm pond action.
I’ll be using it for trout, bass and whatever else I can find. Based on a lawn casting session earlier today, it is light and responsive. Let’s see how it does with a strong tug on the other end of the line.
Look for more posts featuring this set up. Enjoy!

Deadly combination> the Sage Circa & Click III would be a phenomenal pairing on many small stream brook trout waters here in the North. Look forward to your review…

Hi,
Came home with new rod and line yesterday, googled “Sage Circa” and clicked on your page and……….
Same 3 wt, identical line but on a Lamson Litespeed. Winter over here with closed streams, so looking forward to your review – while I’m “practising”.
Regards,
Brent

That’s great Brent. I just practiced on a local farm pond last night and the combo performed great. Look for a post here soon. Thanks for stopping by.
