Took a drive up to the Marlborough Fishing Show with a couple of friends.
Aside from seeing some great presentations on flycasting, nymphing and destination fishing, we also tried some new gear and took advantage of show specials on flies and tying materials.
My friends tried out some small stream and fiberglass rods and it looks like they will be making some purchases for this spring. Based on the prices I saw, there are some real deals out there.
